When we face superior d-lines, Danny will be under pressure a lot like he was against Bama last year. (not to mention our o-line is nothing like it was last year) And when that happens, Danny’s slow decision making and inability to throw under pressure will result in an ineffective offense. I can foresee 3-and-outs galore. I look back on two specific plays against Syracuse where Myles under pressure was able to find the open man and on top of that was able to execute the pass. The 40 yd check down to Williams and then the check down to Moreau with 3 free bodies running at him. I believe Etling has given us the best chance against the past few teams but we will need Myles’ decision making under pressure when it comes to Bama and possibly Auburn.

How many interceptions has Myles' decision making led to?

Etling very easily could have had 3 yesterday, if we're being on honest. On top of missing a wide open layup touchdown throw to Williams. I'm not saying Brennan is the answer, because with our OL I think both QB's are in a tough spot, but it's not unreasonable to think Brennan might be able to offer us some advantages over Etling. Of course that goes both ways. We're in a bad spot all around with the passing game.

I think it’s pretty obvious that we run a very limited offense when Etling is in the game, simply to reduce Etlings chances of making mistakes. Sam Darnold one of the better qbs in the league has 9 ints on the season. You gonna say Etling is better than Darnold? No you’re not. I’d even venture to say that simply putting Myles in the game opens up 20% more of the playbook.. We were so predictable yesterday. Run on 1st and 2nd, then play action pass on 3rd and that’s because that’s what Etling allows you to do. Sorry not sorry.

Narcisse should be considered as an option for his ability to run or in the very least, some wildcat formations to throw off opposing D's. But then, this is something Canada should realize or come up with some even better idea. He is paid a lot of money and has complete control of the offense so we should expect better...

Amount of passes Darnold has? Of course I wouldn't say he's a worse QB. But nice argument.
