0-1?

That game was pathetic. I will admit that I have been a Miles supporter for a few years while many others wanted him gone. The thing that bothers me now, is not that we lost- but how pitiful the loss was. And the piss poor sportsmanship shown on the field, that forearm to the head was uncalled for....period.

Its time to get rid of Miles. Even knowing his job was absolutely on the line this year, he still couldn't manage to change his offensive philosophy.

Yeah, that game was ridiculous. He talked about how the offense was going to be much different yada yada...

Then the first game it's the same old crap.

You'd think he'd WANT to change the offense considering how pathetic it's been virtually the entire time he's been there. Even when they weren't bad on offense, they weren't really good. They had 1 good year with Mettenberger. Other than that, they were average at best and virtually dead last at worst.

Even the defense was bad. Its all bad at this point, special teams were atrocious.

disagree

imperfect, yes. But, it was as good (or better) than I expected given a new system, etc. It was actually quite good and with promise of being excellent.

The offense? No change at all and still not good.

2002 Va Tech under Saban. And we looked pretty pathetic that game as well. Defense got pushed around all day and offense did next to nothing despite having Matt Mauck, Michael Clayton, Domanick Davis, Devery Henderson, and LaBrandon Toefield. We went 8-5 that season with the help of the Bluegrass City Miracle.

And offensive coordinator was Jimbo Fisher

People don't want to admit it but Saban really only had 2 really good years at LSU.

NFL qb and two starting NFL recievers and a starting NFL running back in 2013 and we still drop 3 games. That says it all. I'm embarrassed to say I was a fool then and still stuck up for the man. Shame on me.

Agreed. Potential to be a really good defense. If they can just improve on special teams, this team might have enough defense in most games.

Saban took us from rock bottom. Les miles is bringing us back there.

Saban has won 4 national titles at bama, Fisher has won one at FSU.

LSU is not bama. How many championships did he win at LSU?

I don't care what some other coach has done at some other school. This is about LSU.
