I've attended both universities, I'd like to see them play every once in a while... guess I could wear purple gold and green..lol

that game would get too ugly. Upper tier FBS schools do not need to play low tier FCS schools. Someone is going to get hurt seriously.

Didnt SLU just restart their football team to begin with? They didnt play at all for like 18-20 years I thought.

I think you have that backwards. Unless you're USF, then you're correct.
And all joking aside, with the guy SLU has at QB this year, they've got a chance to make some noise in the FCS.

Rice used to be a home and home every year. Rice cost LSU the NC in 1961 and was the only Defeat. Rice and Texas A&M were home and home until the old SWC folded its tent.

Alright well SLU beat NWST last year and LSU played NWST, so why not just spread the wealth to SLU every so often.

Oh I agree with you... wish I knew what they haven't made the attempt to a game going.. SLU get a paycheck LSU geta win.. money stays in the state to benefit local kids.. plus its not like the two schools are competing for the same recruits

This must be new because no one hated LSU except the administration a few years ago. And that hate was just jealousy. The athletic program is slowly getting better but most students still tuned into LSU on Saturdays. We aren't ULL!

Yeah I don't believe there is any hate for LSU at SLU at all... Can't imagine it will ever get to the level of retarded hate that ULL has

There definitely is. But it is mostly with the professors and administration and not with the students

It is in the admin and athletics dept. ask any slu athlete from any sport and they will say they can beat LSU. Football players think LSU is scared
