I was there. My recollection is flurries, then the sun came out right at the end of the game when we had it sewed up .

Exactly Right Garry.

Independence Bowl was sleet during the game.

Seems like every year I watch Illinois or some other Big 10 team going at it in the snow.

if there is a snow game I bring it to the attention of whomever is in the house.

People love to watch big time football in the snow.

I think the networks make sure to show snow game highlights.

I played in serious snow. its great. you hit the ground with a cushion instead of like on concrete with little knives embedded which occurs when you are playing on a field that was wet before a hard freeze.

It snowed in 2000 for the LSU v GA Tech game, but the game was in a dome. I remember walking through Olympic Park post game in the snow

I remember a friend of mine coming back from that game, he pulled up in the driveway and had about a 1/2 " thick sheet of ice that built up on his trunk of his car! So i know it was cold enough weather, seem like i remember them showing flurries in the stadium lights but don't think there was any anything much more than that.

The Arky game was in the early 90's and was in Little Rock. Miserable game. I couldn't wait to leave. Lots of freezing rain and sleet.

Must have been 90 or 92, because I was in LR in 94 and 96. I think it was cold and rainy for both games, but definitely no snow or ice. I drove back home to Memphis after both to finish out Thanksgiving weekend with my family, and didn't have any road trouble either trip.
