Arkansas 2007 triple overtime loss was the coldest game I've been to in TS. Nose bleeds were miserable that night. Never seen so many strangers cuddle to stay warm. Idk if the loss made it any colder but it seemed that way. Coldest game I have ever been to in my life was Arkansas 2014 at Arkansas. Never been so cold in my life.

The cost would be unimaginable, but that wouldn't be the biggest hurdle.

With limited space to the north as well as well as a 9 month window of completion it would be nearly impossible with the current setup.

How long before a drone supported lightweight/transparent cover lifts off from a large field somewhere and posts up over the entire stadium for 4 hours?

Someone get on it.

And about a 30mph north wind blowing straight in. Even my three layers weren't enough that night.

2013 A&M game

That game would not have been so bad if it hadn't rained before kickoff and maintained that mist through most of the 1st half.

Can't remember...wasn't the TAM game a few years back with Johnny Football cold? Or was it just wet maybe?

Coldest game I've been to was definitely the 2008 Troy game. Didn't help that I was up in the nosebleeds. I had shorts and a tshirt on with a hoodie in my hand as I was leaving the house. I'm glad I went inside to slip on two pairs of sweat pants and an extra jacket because I was still cold as hell. I don't think I would've lasted to halftime with just shorts and a hoodie on

2005 vs. the Panthers. Being played in late December certainly didn't help matters.

(You said Tiger Stadium, not LSU.)

I had season tix for $70 that year!
I didn't make the Panthers Game.
The Tampa and Miami games were fun though.

Coldest for me was Utah in 1974...we won but it was the coldest night I've ever spent in Tiger Stadium...

I was seven and was at this game until half-time. We couldn't take it any longer, we left and went to my cousin's apartment in TigerLand it was nice then and a whole bunch of family stayed there.

My parents stayed and went to sit in the east side behind the Utes' bench.

I too was at that game and was 6 yrs old. Feet were wrapped in Schweggman's brown paper bags, I was bundled up in afghans and begged my grandpa to stay the entire game.

per wunderground history, low was 32* , winds NW from 15 - 30 mph, with rain and fog. A game I'll never forget

I think this guy might have actually listed the coldest LSU game in Tiger Stadium in the modern era. That was during the Curley years, so many might not remember it. I looked at the old box score and it was 37 degrees with gusts up to 20 mph.

Based on the crowd that day, not many will remember. Stadium was prob half full. Sat in the NE end zone and pretty much had a couple of rows to ourselves-made it feel even colder.
Ole miss kicker missed a 35 or so yard FG with a minute or so left. Would've put them up 1. Next week-we upset Bama.
Easily the best two weeks of the Crazy Bout Curley era.

It was 2002 Ole Miss game that was cold. November 23, 2002. Rick Clausan got his one and only start at LSU, only to be yanked after a few series for Marcus Randall. Let that sink in Randall and Clausan beat Eli Manning.

Coldest one since then was A&M in 2013. Mainly because it was wet and cold.

I remember the 02 Ole Miss game, and it was chilly, but I don't think it's in the conversation for coldest games at TS.

An interesting thing about that game was that it marked 2 years in a row playing Ole Miss in TS. It's also remarkable what a better coach Saban is nowadays as opposed to his first 2-3 years at LSU. He has really mastered the SEC head coaching thing. I remember being at the 01 Ole Miss game and we all wanted him fired afterwards.
