This is still very possible, particularly if Fournette gets back to Heisman like performances.

Our best hope is that Bama loses to either State, Auburn or Florida. Or that we don't have to play them in the semifinal round and someone else knocks them off.

But all that assumes that we win out. Miles has to get this team up to play Arkansas and Ole Miss. Even the Aggies could get their shite together on offense though they've shown no ability to stop Fournette.

If you don't come out Saturday and beat Arky convincingly, forget the playoffs unless Alabama slips up. A sloppy win or a uncharismatic effort will drop us in the polls.

I don't see this committee putting 2 teams in from any conference unless they have 2 loss champs. Best case scenario would be for Stanford to beat ND and lose the PAC12 championship. Outside of either Clemson or Alabama losing, I can't think of a better chance.

1. Clemson-Lock
2. Alabama- Lose to Miss State/Auburn most likely a lock
3. OSU- Lose to MSU or Michigan(more likely)
4. OKST/Baylor/OU/TCU will knock themselves out

Which leaves

5. ND (loss at Stanford)
6. Stanford (lose Oregon Saturday or pac 12 championship)
7. Iowa (will get throttled in Big 10 championship)
8. LSU

If we get in, playoffs will look something like

Clemson-LSU
Alabama-MSU/OSU/Big 12 winner if OSU loses 2
