And when we lose to Bama, again, what will you say? What about losing to Florida?

Next years schedule will be tough. I guess you have to define successful? 8-4 , 9-3??

If he is, I will eat crow. No problem. I won't be the first person in the history of mankind to be wrong.

But is Ed Orgeron seriously the best our university could have done? I have a hard time believing that, and that is what is embarrassing.

Just as long as you promise to do a good job spinning how 3 or 4 losses suddenly isn't a problem anymore.

I expect him to be successful next year, it's sustainability that concerns me.

When you don't have a system of your own you have to hit home runs on coordinator hires every time. And inevitable turnover and new systems every couple of years....we'll see.

Good luck O prove me wrong. I'd rather LSU be successful than to be right on this.

So we just have to accept mediocrity? This program already has so much talent. This coaching hire will come to be a pivotal point in LSU football history. You mean to tell me Orgeron was the right move?

And if he loses to Florida and Bama again and we are third place in the west. I don't want to hear from you.

Do you honestly think O is the person who will take us over the hump we are stuck at. He will be ok but we basically signed up for 5 more years of 9-3 hell

So you're offering up your dick?

O will likely be fine next year, but the year after when the QBs and Guice are gone, that will most likely be when things take a turn because he's not an offensive guy. Brady Hoke stated off great at Michigan going 11-2 and winning the Sugar. He was fired in the 4th year after losing more games every year and ending with a losing record.

We may have a moral victory here and there... so it may not be that bad. Mediocrity is... ok. Which... isn't bad.

Next year's road schedule is BRUTAL. If we go 9-3 w/ the players we're losing & that schedule, I'd consider it a damn good year. (Assuming we're competitive in the losses)
