When LSU's luck improves re: turnovers, this team should be unbeatable

While turnovers lost are often preventable, and most of the teams at the top of CFB's fewest turnovers are some of the best teams in the country, turnovers gained tends to have a bit more luck involved.
For instance, LSU's 2006 defense was one of the most elite groups in the last 15 years, and despite their 242.8 yards per game, they only generated 21 turnovers. On the other hand, the 2007 squad, while still very good, gave up 288.8 yards per game, but managed to generate 36 turnovers.
As for 2015, there are only 17 schools with fewer turnovers gained than LSU, and two of those teams have only played 5 games. LSU has 7 turnovers gained this season, and is on pace for 15 turnovers in a 13-game season - the lowest since 2005.
Outside of the 2005 season with 14 turnovers, the next lowest total for LSU was 19 with the 2013 defense, which was roughly 1.5 per game.
The uncharacteristically low turnovers generated makes LSU's 6-0 start all the more impressive. Coupled with the below-average special teams, it is incredible LSU has managed to stay undefeated. If special teams improves whatsoever, and the ball starts to bounce LSU's way in the turnover department, the sky is the limit for this squad.

This team has a very high ceiling. I feel like we have yet to come close to playing our best. When they put a whole game together in all three phases it'll be spectacular. We came close this weekend but started a little slow fizzled out after halftime. I'm waiting on that four quarter domination and I hope it comes against those crimson frickers.
