When is the last game that Miles truly out coached his opponent?

These blowhards in the media saying Miles firing was unjust got me thinking about this. How long was LSU supposed to put up with a horrendous offense and gameplan just because he's a nice guy and used to win a lot of games?

Tennessee, 2010. And just barely. Derek Dooley on the opposing sideline.

Alabama 2011 when he made the QB switch that won them the game.

That's about it.

Arguably Bama 2014 and 2012, for 90% of them at least.

There ya go. But there is zero doubt that the better team didn't win Saturday. And last years game he ran circles around Gus and AU.

He has been good against A&M and Florida. He actually out coached Saban a couple of times except the last 1:30 minutes (with Chavis help).

He outcoached Saban in 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012. LSU only won two of those games, but took them to OT the other time and lost on the Yeldon screen in regulation. The two wins are self explanatory and the losses were with LSU teams that were simply not as good as Alabama. Miles still outcoached him though, which will always be a bit of a head scratcher considering his blunders to other coaches.
