when i start getting nervous about the DC hire

I remember that miles had messed up once before, and got out of that mess quickly.
once burned, twice shy.
so I have to figure he'll be very deliberate and make a quality hire.
from what i'm hearing, I could go with either shoop or the haley/orgeron combo.
Or I could go with something else. I figure it will be a decent hire one way or another.
like everyone, I hope it's a great hire.

I'd like to see him bring in Shoop as the DC. I don't think Brick will stick around after being passed over for the DC job. Once Brick leaves, Miles can bring in Ed O for the DL position.

Can you imagine Shoop with talent? Look Penn State and Vandy under him. Those were some hard nosed hard fought defenses.

If Chavis left amid concerns regarding offensive production as reported. What top shelf DC will be willing to come knowing the situation up front?
