Alleva once again fell for the ol' "I'm going to leave LSU for another job unless you give me a raise and meet my program demands."

Granted. And I agree.

Still has nothing to do with my comment.

I am concerned right now because we can not even hit against a shitty pitching staff like this.

CPM's biggest flaws are not managing the pen correctly, lack of development of players for timely hitting, and recruiting lull over the past two years. It seems like we aren't getting the caliber of player that we got from 2008-2013.

This team is just not that good this year. Injuries are also killing them and it's obvious. Be happy if LSU is a 2 seed this year in regional. They're not going to host. They're not going to get "hot" they are just missing a lot of cogs in the wheel right now. Injuries really killed us early.

Coastal Carolina also won the national championship last year after they nut drug us at home, so it's hard to say that last year's team didn't have that kind of calibre.

Some on here don't want to hear it but the losses are adding up rapidly. CPM got the benefit of the doubt in years gone by but this has become a trend with him. The teams just don't have the depth or the hitting they should have. I am tired of hearing how other programs have risen, etc. This is LSU and the program has many advantages that CPM is simply not capitalizing on. His recruiting is suspect and his coaching is questionable.

The slide of the LSU Baseball program is undeniable.

We do not have the pitching depth or the hitting we should have and CPM is responsible. CPM is not worth being paid one of the top 2 or 3 salaries in college baseball. Sick and tired of the excuses.

This team certainly doesn't have a killer instinct. This many average teams have beaten us. I have lowered my expectations for this year. At this point I will be happy making it to a Super regional. I only expect to make it to a regional though

It's frustrating because against in-state teams we hit like shite. Against high talent pitching (Florida), we didn't hit at all - except for one inning. If this team is going to make it out of the SEC schedule with 18 to 20 wins our hitting needs to come around. If not, we won't be a top 8 seed.
