On a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being fully confident, how confident are you in that LSU will win a football conference championship in the next 5 years?

With Miles? 4.

All the other teams in the SEC West look to be improving while we are standing pat or declining. Not to mention that I don't believe that Alabama is going to get any worse in the next 5 years.

they look to be improving because they were so far down...I would say the young talent we have right now has the potential to be an upgrade over the past two years next year and the next, but of course that is hypothetical at this point. Replacing Crowton would certainly make me feel better, but hopefully Gonzalez will augment his shortcomings.

Why are these LSU fans saying 2 and 3 bc of Miles?? If you have that small of faith in our coach maybe yall should pull for a different team.

The strides they are making are great though. LSU struggled with these teams that were so bad and are improving so obviously if they keep the trends for us and them the past two years, LSU will be looking at last place in the SEC west.

That said, I think LSU will jump anywhere from 2-6 in the SEC West each year over the next 5 years dependent on the coaching changes and QB development.

I'll respond. I said 4, because I haven't seen good player development "overall" with Miles' recruits the past two years. Our LBers have improved, but OL and QB have regressed the past 2 years. WR play is also regressing overall, but Gonzales may fix that.

Running backs regressed some as well.

I think Miles' coaching hires on offense are going to determine if we have a shot. PERIOD. Right now, Crowton doesn't instill confidence in ME to be able to make a previously undeveloped team into champions.
