What's on the back of the neck? Is that part of the jersey or the undershirt?

Undershirts say Pro Combat in gray, these are normal. On the back of the jersey it says Fighting Tigers in "gold". First time I've noticed

Only thing I can think of is that Nike updated some of their school's unis for postseason.

Best pic I could find, looks like it's on the jersey:

Looks like it says "Fighting Tigers" on the back neckline of the jersey.

The jerseys were not button downs, they only have two buttons similar to the BP jerseys. Im still wondering why we retired the all gray unis. They were classic.

Will Davis said on air last week that the all gray uniforms were made out of a different material that felt like cardboard to the players. They hate the feel and don't want to wear them again.

I've watched all but about three games and the jerseys never had that on the back until last night. On another note, why is Canizzaro the only coach that wears a gameday jersey?

couldn't they just, you know, ask nike to make them out of the same material as the other jerseys?

At least we have an answer. Nike should have supplied a new set by now, though.
