Did they change coaches?

YES. He left LSU nine years ago to go to Texas A&M.

quote:

PAT HENRY established LSU as the pre-eminent track and field program in the country while he was there by winning 27 team NCAA championships with numerous team titles coming on both the men's and women's sides.

How LSU lost not only the best, most successful coach in any sport that LSU ever had, but arguably the BEST in collegiate track, I don't know, someone else can fill you in, but they did.

" most successful coach in any sport that LSU has ever had, and I DO mean in any sport. If you were to combine the success LSU has had in every sport, in the history of the school that still would not overtake Henry's success."

It is in fact Pat Henry, not Skip Bertman, that was the most successful, the winningest coach in the history of LSU Athletics. And A&M has him.

you have our coach, and when track begins to become a revenue generating sport...we'll hire him back

What you don't know is the number of crossovers from Track while Henry was at LSU, the number of two sport sprinters that had successful careers in football at LSU.

The first time I heard the chest thing was from Les Miles about a recruit QB that changed his mind on playing at LSU.

It was a classless remark from him to that kid.

You might have to understand Milespeak to know what it means. Who knows, upper body muscle mass? heart?
So maybe someone who understands Milespeak can tell you. I haven't understood that man since the latter part of 2011.

Actually what Miles said and how he it said it was one of the better possible ways to handle that whole Gunner Kiel ordeal. Kiel is a spinless liar and the way Miles worded it was great, given the situation. Kiel brought all that on his self though. Oh and our track program isn't great because Shaver isn't the best sprinters coach. A coworker ran for Shaver at LSU and he said his training regiment for sprinters isn't the best. He said he likes Shaver a lot, but his training lacks a little something.
