Nice win last night. Forget that Alabama had lost 6 of 7 in league play entering the game. If LSU fans convince themselves that it's a quality win, then they can crow and care. It's what happens when you don't have football to rely on.

Go troll elsewhere Gump...unfortunately I live in Gump infested Birmingham and it sickens me that 9/10 of your fan base couldn't point to Tuscaloosa on a map, and 99% of these said fans' wardrobe is "Gump Gear" they bought from the local gas station, which must be worn 24/7, 365. I hear Walmart is nice this time of the day...Geaux away and GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The stereotypes for bama fans are true. I spent some time in Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago and about 75% of the people with any type of bama gear on their car or person was wearing overalls or jean shorts with wife beaters or tattered T-shirts that look like they have never been washed. Most looked like they haven't taken a shower in a week too.

Their fans quickly resorted back to football smack. I Asked one gump idiot in an AJ jersey so since when is McCarron playing baseball now, reply in his classic Forest accent "Got Championships" threw a quick jab back "Got Teeth"

Congrats. Playing great baseball. As long as I had those lotto schollies I would temper my enthusiasm. Bama has the Bryant scholarship that is given to former players kids. Can you imagine the articles from Rabalais, the websites and the burning in effigies that would take place if Bama was allowed to have 85 football players and another 50 on the Bryant schollie? Bama, AU and the Miss schools fill out a roster with a 11 or 12, whatever it is, schollies. TOTAL. That means basically you only get kids from wealthy families, not the best baseball players. I know, get the lottery and you are equal. Well, I could have said in the 70's get your alumni to donate more and you can have 300 football players like us, Texas, Notre Dame, etc. Playing with kids on partials against full teams of full-ride players is like being on probation every year. You can be competitive sometimes but not consistently. Look at the rise of baseball programs and in every case it coincides with the lottery. Arkie being the last example of an out of nowhere program to come up after the lotto. I emailed Rabalais about this and said how bout doing a column on this? Shh, shh we don't want to discuss this.
I'll go as far as to say this. Any coach that loses to Bama, AU or the Miss schools should be fired that day on the spot given the huge advantage with lotto schollies they have. Congrats on the sweep today. You should have expected it. And expect it next year and the next. If not, take a looong look at your coach because this shouldn't even be a game.
