That was the case last year. Then he went up against real defenses.

Are you implying that our defense this year will be the same as last.

I would wager that you have never met the kid.

As a 1st time college player, and he had a tough season. In spite of having to deal with moronic fans like yourself, he has acted with nothing but class.

I admire him and hope he gets a chance to redeem himself.

As for you, I am fairly certain that you will never reach the level of accomplishment in any endeavor that J. Lee has already achieved as a football player.

+1

You gotta admire the way he handled himself throughout last season. Glad he is on our side.

You will be missed.

No he wont. It'll be nice to once again sit in Tiger Stadium and not hear people boo the players from our team.

I think Chris Garrett is gonna be a good one, maybe even a better QB than Shep.

As far as Jarrett Lee, I wish him the best, whether he is a starter or not.

Also, has anybody seen if Jefferson has changed his throwing motion? Last year he had a big, long delivery (almost like a baseball player). I was wondering if Miles and Crowton are gonna try and change that.

When I said the Garret could be a better QB than Shep, I didn't have the option play in mind.

I wish fans wouldn't buy into this notion. Yes, there are certain fundamentals which coaches buy into... but the question is whether the ball is delivered to the right receiver, accurately and with the right velocity or "touch" given the throw that is required.

I like the way J.J. throws the ball from what I've seen. I think J.L.'s throwing mechanics have been way overstated. You got to get the ball to the right receiver on the given play, or use discretion and avoid the sack, escape the pocket, etc. and lead this team as QB.

you do realize that the offensive coordinator at LSU likes to do QB draws and options right?

hell, he even tried to do it with flynn/hester, and last year with lee and scott...
