What's the Rants Consensus on Matt Moscona?

Personally I can't stand him. He is a true LSU sunshine pumper and LSU couldn't pay someone to do a better job of not taking hard stances on LSU athletics. That's the one thing I do respect about Cowherd is his ability to criticize a program without reservation.

Difference between Cowherd and Moscona is a giant one. Cowherd is a nationally syndicated show, therefore he can go and piss one fan base off and be fine ratings wise, Moscona is a local show, if he pisses off LSU fans too much he loses ratings and eventually would get shut down.

It's not about pissing off LSU fans it's about not just spitting out these preformatted opinions LSU's AD gave him.

No whenever he starts talking about basketball I switch him off in favor of DC and the Sunshine Man.

So you form your opinions based on your selective listening? That's always a great idea. How exactly do you want him to complain about an 11-2 football team and (up until recently) a top-10 baseball team? He's given Jordan Jefferson his fair share of criticism

I don't know if he's a complete sunshine pumper. He's as critical of JJ as anyone on this board, and gives 0% blame of the offensive woes on "average at best" O-Line...
(yes I know they were better than last season but thats not saying much... they still were far from great)
... or WRs with hands of stone.
Anywho, like most people he has his times when he sounds as ignorant as most people on the Rant (if thats possible), and sometimes he sounds pretty with it. He's about as bandwagon as you all here. A couple weeks ago he had the baseball team going undefeated thru the season... now I think he feels they will never win again.
But for the most part I listen to him just to stay up to date on LSU, NOT for his opinion of whats going on with LSU.

Moscona is probably my second favorite radio sports show host to listen to after SVP. Obviously SVP is hilarious and a god.
Scone is cool too though. He's definitely been very hard on LSU basketball and JJ, but of course they did warrant it. I expect he'll share his opinions openly if the baseball team continues to struggle too. I like hearing from the knowledgeable guests he usually has on usually and he talks to the players sometimes. The interviews with Jarvis Landry were great! Made Landry instantly one of my favorites and I've never seen him play yet.

He loves Catholic High BR and their NO CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL Team too much. Other than that, he is alright.

I listen to Buddy as a habit. I like to listen to Scone.
