Miss State.

We damn near pulled off the upset against Troy.

Troy.

It was 17-0 late in the 3rd quarter. The only reason the score appeared close was Troy just went to prevent and allowed garbage time touchdowns. Don't let the score fool you.

Troy...

Look rationalizing that we made it close with Troy illustrates just how embarrassing this loss is. Another poster pointed out...losing to another SEC team won't register in a few years...this really is Michigan vs App State level an embarrassing loss for the ages.

It is like Michigan's loss to App. State

Eh app state was a multi time champion and that mich team was a lot better than this lsu team imo

If Michigan State, Wisconsin, or Penn State get waxed at Rutgers in week 3 it is noteworthy for sure and turns a lot of heads. However, if two weeks later the you also lose to Buffalo with all you goals still technically in front of you, snapping a 17 year old streak, it's much more embarrassing.

One was a blowout on the road one of the worst teams in a power 5 conf.

I'd say one of the worst is a bit of a stretch for me, but I can see how one might see it that way. Being our worst loss vs miss state puts that game up there for embarrasing.

The other was a 3 pt loss (although it really wasn't that close) to a sunbelt team in TS

Our first ever loss to a sunbelt team is incredibly embarrassing. The game really didn't feel that close in Tiger Stadium. But for me, the tipping point that makes Troy the real embarrassment is that we paid them nearly 1 mil to come into Tiger Stadium and beat us on Homecoming.

And they mocked us about it, rightfully so

They're both awful, but the magnitude and nightmarish quality of the MSU loss is more shocking, IMHO. With Troy a successful Hail Mary pass could have bailed us out, besides it wasn't a conference game

Troy. LSU should expect to lose to Miss State.

Worst loss vs miss state (a program we have dominated)

Troy is first loss vs sun belt team.

Both are historic losses. Impressive how much history coach o has already made at lsu.

truly astonishing.

Neither one was embarrassing considering our youth and inexperience....

Actually, kind of expected it...

Troy for sure

At least Moo State is a conference opponent, and they are much closer to our talent level than Troy.
