I dont see it, at all. Their QB situation is worse than ours and this is a stacked team.

If anything it should be Arkansas if we drop one to anyone. They always seem to play 20 levels above the norm ainst LSU.

don't you pick the thug in a streetfight over a non-thug?

Florida makes more sense than Arkansas, imo. Both are road games, and Florida is a much better program than Arkansas.

Big reason is we play in the swamp.

it's mainly because Florida is on the road, has a stout defense, and it's at the end of a 3-game SEC set for us (at Auburn, Missouri, at UF).

We should win based on talent alone, but winning at The Swamp is rarely easy.

Nor do I. They lose a lot on defense, and while they will still have a good to great unit at worst, it will be hard for there not to be a drop off from last year with how good they were.

Plus, the offense was complete lost once Grier was out. I know Treon is terrible, but it shows that if Mac isn't comfortable adjusting his offense to the personal that he has. If Del Rio is sub par it could be a long season for the Gators. That being said, he is a good QB coach and I expect them to have a good season with loses to us, FSU, and Tennessee.

LSU traditionally struggles @ UF. Won by 7 at home vs them last season. Rival game, always tough although blowouts have occurred both ways.

that performance IMO is always going to be based on how the week before went. Just is.

UF has a better coach, better players, better facilities and is a far better football program than Arkansas.

They always play us tough and close, so that's probably why

Because it's probably going to be a 2:30 game in the swamp and we traditionally struggle there at that time.

I don't believe in Florida just yet. I think McElwain still needs to prove himself. They got absolutely destroyed by Harbaugh and Michigan in their bowl game. They also lost to the Noles once again.

Why their coach is so highly rated? He has done nothing and won several close games vs very weak teams last year.

LSU hasn't beaten BOTH Auburn and Florida on the road since 1992

Their offense will be better, but their defense will be a bit worse. With LSU having a real DC now, Guice becoming a more used backup/change of pace runner, and Brandon Harris in his 3rd year, I expect something like a 10 point win for LSU even in the swamp.

ETA: Arkansas will be tough again, but we'll stop their run game like we did in 2014. Should be close.

We typically don't play too hot in Arkansas and if LSU loses to BAMA it could be like the past two years.

Personally, I'd be worried about Florida and/or Ole Miss.

We have blokes who are willing to concede that this is the year we finally beat Alabama, but are not willing to concede that we can go undefeated. And they have to come up with somebody for us to lose to.

Last year, Arkansas played us following their bye week. And, of course, the previous week had been an enormous letdown for us against Alabama.

This season, however, we will be coming off of an enormous victory over Alabama, while Arky will be licking their wounds following a beatdown by Florida.
