Faster decisions on offense. Less delay of games/timeouts wasted. Less time for the defense to see what we are doing and predict the play.

This is my biggest hope.

Consistent, reliable pass protection combined with basic QB mechanics that take advantage of a true pocket.

In short, if Mettenberger can consistently have space and discipline to step up into the pocket and allow the WRs to get separation, our offense will be light years ahead of where it has been over the past few years.

Being able to run multiple plays out of the same look. Much less of max protect with two WR's running their routes...on 3rd and long.

Ask me after the first half. With Miles history has shown (outside of 2007) that what you see in the first half of the first game as far as play calling is what you get all season.
