You can't even use the dugout you've been using the whole year?

Really?? Rice gets to bat last in pivotal game- that is an advantage for them!

it's been like this for years. we are a regional host. nothing more. those are the rules. playing in front of all of our fans is the advantage. who the frick cares if we're the home team in the game or not. the team who plays better will win.

But really I thought it only came to a coin flip if the teams were tied for the same amount of home team games and with rice having it last night shouldn't they be up one thus giving it to the Tigers?

Rice had already been the road team 2x in this Regional to our 1.

However, this makes them the Home team 3x to our 2x.

The rules are set before the tourney begins. No need to be a pussy about it.

Agree with you. I cannot think of one thing other than no travel, sleeping in your own bed for the 5-6 days you would be sleeping in a hotel room, or having 10,000 (theoretically) home crowd fans cheering you on for each game.

Rice clearly has an unfair advantage. We absolutely got hosed in this deal.

If the guys are worried about what dugout they are in, we have much bigger problems.
