What would our record be with SABAN as our coach this year?

Same players, same schedule different coach. If Saban were here with our talent I gotta believe we would be 11-0. Aside from his game management skills, he attracts great assistants that actually know how to exploit team weaknesses. What we have is an OC who still thinks that a dive play on first down with 8 in the box is a really tricky play.

We have more talent than Bama does.

MOVE ON. With everything else we don't need to play this game.

Look...I know most of us are pissed about what happened Saturday and about Miles, but for the love of Dalton Hilliard, will you people quit acting like Nick Saban walks on water?!? Why do we need to speculate how saban would be doing if he were at LSU? Wasn't he here for 5 years? Can't we simply go an look at what he DID while at LSU...and then extrapolate out?

Saban at LSU:

2000 - 7-4 reg season, 8-4 with win in Peach Bowl
2001 - 8-3 regular season (at one point 4-3 after losing to Ole Miss at home), 10-3 with wins in the SECCG and Sugar Bowl.
2002 - 8-4 reg season, (with a loss to Arky in the last seconds to keep LSU from going to the SECCG) 8-5 with a loss to Texas in Cotton Bowl.
2003 - 11-1 reg season, 13-1 with wins in the sECCG and Sugar Bowl for the NC.
2004 - 9-2 reg season, 9-3 after last second loss to Iowa in the Cap One Bowl.

Now...other than wishful thinking and the childlike assumption that because he's run the table during the regular season at BAMA (who has not faceed Florida during the regular season these past two years) then he could surely do it here, what makes you think a guy that could not go undefeated in any of his five years at LSU when he was HERE (less than 3 losses per year only once while a Tiger) could do it now? Didn't he have his own players and program by year three at least? Even in year four Nick Saban lost AT HOME to a freshman QB in Chris Leak and a Ron fricking Zook lead Florida team. Are you saying Les Miles' recuits would be better able to do what Nick Saban's recruits could not?

***This is no way a positive assesment of Les Miles...just an honest one of Nick Saban.
