All of these people predicting we lose to Georgia realize that they are gonna lose just about their entire defense, right?

I can see us beating everyone on the schedule. Remember Alabama is going to lose a lot of talent on the offensive line as well as some of their defensive studs. Same with Georgia with no Jarvis Jones. Same with Florida as well. If LSU can somehow get the offense going, I think we can make a run.
Remember, Montgomery and Mingo didnt really produce much this year, and Tharold Simon and Eric Reid got beat a bunch in coverage. The real standout was Kevin Minter and it will be hard replacing him. Also Im glad Logan and Downs are gone, Ive said we needed Freak on the field as much as possible. Same with Ware and Ford, now we know the best two RBs will get the carries in Hill and Blue.
I think the exodus of players may be a blessing in disguise to allow some really talented guys to step up, may give the TEAM motivation.

I honestly don't think the people on this board ever take into account the players that are leaving at other schools...only the players that LSU is losing.

This!!!! Ten times over. Alabamas O-Line will be decimated, and Lacy, Millner and Moseley will all be gone along with some others. Georgia is losing Rambo and Jones, and Florida is losing Elam. Flyod and now Jenkins along with TE reed. and Muschamp is just an enept on offense as Miles, perhaps more.
And Johnny Football is losing his all NFL O-Line, and you saw what we did to him this year.
People, our patchwork O-Line is coming back stronger and experienced, and we are cutting some dead weight to allow some real talented guys to shine.

Last three times in Athens
We lost with DiNardo on a failed 2pt conversion to win.
We lost with Saban, got shellacked actually.
And we won with Miles in a vintage Miles close game win.
Miles 1-0 in Athens so we will see.
