A whole lot of JR's on Defense need to come back for me to start feeling optimistic again.

If everyone leaves and no changes are made to the offense or coaching staff then im feeling 8 wins and back to the Chicken Bowl or Gator Bowl next year

An OC needs to be hired.

I don't care who is leaving, we reload.

I might get excited if LSU goes out this offseason and does what Florida did last year, and hire one of the best offensive minded coordinators in the college game, whomever that is. I can hope can't I?

Not a thing, come August I'll be as fired up as ever. However, a new OC would make me feel a hell of a lot more optimistic about the season. With the talent on the sideline there is never a reason for this program to be less than mediocre on either side of the ball.

If HB7 came back, that would make me excited.

As long as Miles keeps control of the offense, the program will gradually decline--too bad.

I agree with poster above. Come August, I am ready to go and savor every week they play. Season flys by in a hurry, miss it already.

Only way that happens is as an o line coach or something. Would not be a head job ANYWHERE. So guess you know this dream will never happen. We are stuck for 7 years. Thanks Aleva.

Next season concerns me. With massive losses on D, it could be a 6-6 type season. This program simply cannot be carried by its offense. And with the yards given up by the D this season, it's not encouraging to see them try to carry on without Mingo, Montgomery, and Minter.

I'm not excited probably won't be until the TCU game but once the same piss poor offense barely gets 300 yards of total offense I'll be turned off again

An admission of our offensive problems by Les Miles and a new OC.

Even if this doesn't happen, I will always be excited about LSU football.

In light of how we finished the last TWO seasons, it will be difficult for this Alum and fan to get excited for next season with anything short if these two results: overcoming the results to have a successful recruiting class and a significant staff change in offense. When you have non-LSU fans and national media giving US sh*t about how blatantly clueless about our offense this staff appears to be, it is hard to stomach or accept. It's not the losses for me, its the incompetance I can't accept. I love LSU and bleed P&G in all sports and year round. These players, the LSU family and fans deserve better than the commitment they are receiving from Miles imho.
