What were your thoughts about D after MS State and Auburn?

I know the QB situation was the big talk in both games, but damn we got Gashed on D! One weak link on D was all it took.

Hard to tell how we could have made Auburn a competitive game, but we would have beat miss state I believe with Beckwith. Chavis was the reason this happened so we can now blame at least 3 losses on him.

Honestly I did not understand how a professional coach like Chavis would be left empty handed at MLB.

It would've made a pretty big difference in both games really. Blockers were Welter magnets all season long. I just couldn't believe how easy he was to suck into a block. It's like he ran right to them on purpose.

I thought we would go 4-8 or. 5-7 because the offense was as bad as the defense. Luckily Chavis saved the season.
