5. Defense is playing great but we rely on the blitz alot. Just seems we will be off at least one game and get burned.
6. Backup QB can't win for us. Sorry I like Marcus and he seems to be a good person just not an SEC QB! Ok so fire away!
Sounds like what are issues are now, and look a fan complaining about blitzing. Just goes to show you truly can't make LSU fans happy.

It was pretty much a damn free-for-all and the interface sucked. There were no admins back then, just Chicken and Circus Child. Things were just starting to get going for TD.com, and there was no registration, no sponsors. There might have been about 25-30 regulars, many were fed up with the BS in the Lair. It really was "The Rant"; being a "rantard" was basically the default setting for us around game time. I guess the Score Board follows the same MO. Bashing, bitching, and talking shite about Bama was most of the posts after the game. During the week, things calmed down more.
We had the best usernames, though. "Bimbo Fisher", "Jimmie the Geek", "Tiger F@g", "TigersKickBoutte", "SECond2none", "Bourbon Boob", "Phat Bertman", "C.Collins-Inmate #430987-E", "Crouching Tiger Hidden Saban", and the immortal "Bhoutros Bhoutros Guidry".

Thanks for the memories Tiger King, those were the days! Hard to believe, my wife was still pregnant with my oldest then. He just turned 7 at the end of September.

Did a double take at the links on the left... I was thinking, WTF? There are links to all these other boards, including... western illinois?? Then I realized we'd played them that year. Kinda cool, I guess.

it was fun. I remember some of the bowl predictions like "Michigan is gonna expose SC". the catastrophe syndrome after the UF loss. and oh god, ppl were having a fit because the ABC announcer - I think Musberger - pretty much anointed SC the champs during the Rose.

Some things do not change... well, I guess they do. Now they usually try to do that anointing when the preseason polls come out.
