What was the overall reaction with our last DC hire?

Didn't keep up with TN or Chavis when we hired him so really had no clue. What was everyone else's reaction back then?

I think he was well received because of his good track record. If I recall most people were pumped that the Tigers got him.

There was much talk about third and Chavis and a smattering of supporters.

Tennessee was terrible when we got him. Tennessee fans laughed at the hire. I was optimistic based on our talent but I never felt he was near as dominant as Pelini was a good move from Peveto.
