Hell, was it Fresno that won the whole damn thing as a 4 seed. Virginia won it all with one of their worst recent regular season teams too

Swept them to end the season and had to turn around and play them in game one of the CUSA tournament and lost 10-9, won the 2nd time they played, then lost in the Semifinals 12-9. Tech scored at least 9 runs in 5 of the past 6 games they played, which all happened in the past 3 weeks.
