Ignorance. There is no way to put it other than flat out ignorance.
Any success LSU has ever had on offense was with a drop back pocket passer.
Jamarcus
Flynn
Lee (First 8 games of 2011)

As a football coach you have to adapt to your players. This staff needs to pull its head out of his arse. Honestly I don't give a shite if they line up in the I formation 80% of the game and run toss dives, but you better have a QB that provides a threat to pull the ball away every now and then on a play action and make a play.
Do you think Saban likes running his offense? Absolutely not. He is an old school big 10 guy like Les, but he understands that if you don't have a McElroy or McAaron and you have Sims or Hurts you need to change your offensive philosophy.
Nobody respects Harris' throwing ability thus leading to stacking the box. This is why Les needs to go. Not because of his offensive philosophy, but because of his inability to recruit players fit for his philosophy. He has yet to put Harris in a spot where he can use his talents and its both sad and unfortunate for Harris who could be thriving in an Up-tempo offense
