Blowout? Brennan going in and becoming a instant legend? Defense shutting them out? Etc.

You don't become a legend against Troy

Blow out win is expected. The real test should be Florida

With our play lately that may not be the case

Not be down 4 touchdowns at halftime.

The only outcome that should be acceptable against Troy is dominance on both offense and defense. 10 or less for Troy and 40 or more for LSU. Any closer than that and it's a disappointment.

Show an identity on offense. Quick pass plays and misdirection run plays. Win the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and no blown assignments on d. Set the edges. Oh yea, and for Clark to catch a punt.

Beating Troy by a wide margin is what should happen... if this were last year under Ensminger I could see it.... But this year with Guice out and Key still not at game shape this game could be very close.. I am NOT impressed with Canada... THIS game BETTER be his offenses "coming out party".

1. Playing a solid game in the trenches on both sides of the ball, particularly the offensive line asserting itself.
2. Receivers and QB's getting into a rhythm and getting the passing attack going if the QB's are given time to stand and throw.
3. Tackling.. solid tackling and actually bringing guys down upon contact.
4. Beating Troy by a wide margin.

Convincing win with few penalties , better O and D line play. Better playcalling on offense

Impose our will on them. If we want to run- be able to run. And when we want to pass- be able to pass.
Stop everything they try on defense. No penalties.

Winning + Better O and D line play, + no penalties...
we are thin and w a young team.. want to see improvement, not just points from a good play here and there.
