Exactly, solid QB's who played the position well and led the team. That's all this team needs. I think it is too bad that the kid Retig didn't stick.

It wouldn't matter. Les wouldn't give ANY of them a chance. He's made up his mind that Jennings is the starter and no amount of facts or losses will change his mind. It's like Les wants to prove that everyone in the world is wrong and only Les knows what's going on. See also, Jordan Jefferson.

How about Nichols State if he is lucky.

This is his biggest fault. The man can absolutely not admit that he is wrong.

I hate that the staff's insistence on playing Jennings regardless of his productivity subjects the young man to such criticism. He seems like a really good kid; he just isn't very talented.

Maybe it's the philosophy and development that's the issue.

Had he been successfully recruited to LSU, do you think Dak Prescott would be having the success he is now?

He actually signed a young man, last name Lee, who enrolled early and then went in the professional baseball draft. Don't know how good he would have been.

There were several dropped passes last night on balls that hit the hands of the receiver.

Nope. I think if Manziel or Newton had played for LSU they never would have been mentioned for the Heisman.

I always heard the most popular guy in the state of Louisiana is the backup QB at LSU. This thread proves it.

Do former SEC members count? If so, Tulane, maybe?

I would hope the next two games are used to see what Harris can do. Perhaps not start but give him some series.

Does lsu run drags...combo high low routes....what about counters.... passing game looks simple with a simple qb I guess.
