I think it's all the empty seats after halftime, when LSU is beating the sisters of the poor by 4 TD's. Or when the stadium is empty because it's raining or because traffic is going to be a legit cause for multiple homicides after the game.

Nowhere near the stadium it was back in late 80's and 90's IMO.

LSU students have always been frisked & I am going back to the 60's when I got my season tickets. So that excuse is moronic. If those fans truely prefer to watch "2 teams with a pulse" over the Tigers, fine, that is their right. But give up those tickets to real Tiger fans who give a frick about our team. But take that excuse out of the equation, too. How do you explain the sparse 72K who showed up for the Fla game last yr & then proceeded to bail out by the 1000's during the game?

there were over 50,000 people who never made it to campus that day because of the traffic. The student ticket scanners were broken causing a line around the stadium with many students bailing out after over an hour of standing in the sun going nowhere waiting to get into the stadium.

It was 110 heat index

I stayed the whole time.

It is simple. It's all about the people, our traditions and our pride in those traditions

Because LSU fans are collectively the Michelangelos, Mozarts, and Davincis all rolled into one of tailgating. Hands down. Nobody anywhere does it as well as we do it. That next level of tailgating? yeah, we created it. Most SEC venues and others I've visited have the idea that strong tailgating is showing up a couple of hours before kick off with a 12 pk in a styrofoam ice chest and a grill with some brats or burgers.
