Very conservative until we fall behind a few touchdowns. Then we will open up the spread. Hopefully before it's to late this time.

BIG 10 football 4 sure, until Cam gets pissed and Les lets him have a couple of plays.

It doesn't matter what game plan Cam uses, because this will happen:

1. If something is a pass and works, the Rant will say it's Cam calling the play.

2. If something is a run and does not work, the Rant will say it's CLM calling the play.

3. If something is a pass and doesn't work, the Rant will proclaim AJ the second coming of JJ and blame CLM.

4. If something is a run and works, the Rant will point out the inadequacy of the opponent and proclaim that better SEC foes will not wear down as much during the game.

The strength of this team is our running game and defense. I don't know why people think we should be "airing it out." We simply don't have the ability to just yet on a consistent basis. We'll get there, but right now we will be leaning on our running game.

We have shown time and time again that by going run heavy early on in games, it wears down opponents and opens things up late in games.

our offense is ground and pound this year, with a few passes outside the numbers.

Won't work against Moo State.

But alas, since Les gets the final say, he'll bang his head against the wall all the way til the end of the 4th quarter.

I think it would work against Mississippi State.

Was it "Les' say" last year when we had a 3,500 yard passer, two 1,000 yard receivers and a 1,400 yard rusher? Or was that all Cam (except for Ole Miss lol we all know that was all Les lol)?

I don't think any here even knows what an "air raid" offense is.

We only threw 35% percent of the time. We just had a thoroughbred QB and WRs now in the NFL. They made the most of an unbalance offense.

Ok? Were you unhappy with our offense last year?

I would hope we line up in the pistol/3 WR sets to start and see what happens. What is the worst that can happen? Somehow miraculously the stout Moo State secondary gets a pick? Ya...OK. Good luck! I like our chances throwing the ball.

If I had to guess though we will see more of the same misuse of stud athletes...

No just pointing out that our offensive numbers were mentioned and they were a huge anomaly based on our weapons at the time.

If we only throw 35% of the time or less this year we cannot possibly expect to have close to the same numbers.

Through 3 games we are throwing around 30% pass....
