Wearing my Charles Alexander jersey to Tiger Stadium in 1977 - I was 7 years old

My dad took me to a game with Bert Jones but I was too young to remember.

Listening to LSU games on the radio in 1977. I still vividly remember the Rice game where LSU won 77-0 and Carlos Carson had a big night. I remember the "Soul Patrol" defensive backfield, which was really good.

Being allowed to curse, "Geaux to Hell, Notre Dame, Geaux to Hell!" in 1971. I was 4.

Good times.

Jaime Howard throwing a ton of interceptions in a single game. Not sure who we were playing, just that the belligerent guy in front of me kept screaming "GET OFF THE FIELD YOU frickIN PUSSY!" (I was like 7).

L.S.U. versus #2 T.E.X.A.S. 1962- COTTON BOWL 63

LSU, TEXAS, O.V.E.R.A.L.L. - R.E.C.O.R.D.

Daddy went to Dallas, TX. A pennant rested on my bedroom wall from 1963-1969 of COTTON BOWL 1963.

Tulane game, early 90's. Eddie Kennison dominated. Killed Tulane. Thought that made us awesome. Was confused why we'd get blown out by SEC teams.

Shutout Toolame in BR last game of the season.
A great season, but recall my dad being in a bad mood I didn't understand pretty much all of 1970
Right around that time also was my first Saints game at TU when Dempsy hit the long FG at the end.

For me, it was 1952 or 53, and the Black Stallion walked through my front door. He was dating my sister. I was hooked on LSU football starting that day. He died a short time ago, but I remained friends with him my whole life. He was a great LSU running back.

LSU vs Auburn
LSU scores on halfback pass to Andy Hamilton on the first play of the game...and held on 21-20 to beat Heisman Trophy winner Pat Sullivan. I was addicted immediately.

Early 70's LSU at Rice. LSU in a blowout and I thought the LSU fans were the most obnoxious people I'd ever seen!

That was against Auburn, I think it was either 1993 or 1994. LSU had the game essentially won, but for some reason, our OC kept insisting on throwing it.
The really sad thing about it is that Jamie Howard got a lot of death threats after that game. Just goes to show how many nutjobs are out there who take football too seriously.

Tim Couch driving Kentucky down the field to beat LSU on a last second FG in 1998. I was 6 years old. I remember watching baseball and games at home with my dad before that, but that whole experience really stands out for me. Friday before the game we got a tour of the locker room, weight room and stadium. My dad still talks about the look on my face when we walked out of the North Endzone Tunnel and onto the field.

Still my favorite place in the world.

Listening to Tigers on the radio on Saturday nights, falling asleep, waking up the next morning to read the sports page of the Times Picayune with one black and white pic from the game to find out the final score.

I barely remember Pat Screen and Nelson Stokley.
