The stats are meaningless other than to get the tards all excited. Which makes Les's obsession to fake them or keep them quiet a goober move that just looks stupid.

80-110 plays tonight, and most were red zone according to Les, which is why the QB yardage is low. That's fine, except we also ran for 337 yards according to Les. if we ran mostly red zone, how did that happen?

Math could still check out actually

You don't think Les is having fun?

I think HE thinks it's clever and coy. Whatever, it's meaningless in the big picture.

I personally don't think it would affect anything to provide real stats, but he's got to run the program as he sees fit, it's his arse on the line.

Honestly the real answer is that he is just trolling everyone.

I don't think it's that he's trolling. He just keeps things buttoned up. Not sure how much it really matters, but he seems to want opponents to have access to nothing of substance aside from game film.

I don't think they are made up as much as they just don't reflect a real game scenario. Football scrimmages typically aren't setup like a 4 quarter 15 minute per quarter scenario.

LSU may run 100 plays which is significantly more than a real game. They may work on redzone for 6 possessions in a row, so obviously touchdowns would be really high. They may work on the 2 minute drill for 4 possessions in a row, so yards would be really high.

I think he gives some rough true stats from the scrimmage, but they just don't mean a whole lot because you can't really compare them to a game scenario.
