As an alumni or just as a fan, on the field, court, or off the field. With the latest string of football player arrests and media attention regarding drug testing, it got me wondering if I was more embarrassed over some on the field performances or off the field issues.

Your thoughts?

Here are couple that come to my mind from both avenues:

Dale Brown and the constant NCAA probes
Lester Earl situation
Shady's Incident
The Mike Archer/Curly Hallman era
Cecil Collins illegally entering the girls dorms
Ryan Perrilloux saga
Honey Badger getting kicked off the football team
The timeout debacle at Ole Miss
Pokey Chapman having relations with players
The last series of plays against Tennessee in 2010
1/9/12

The inexplicable showing in the BCSNCG 1/9/12 was terrible, but

LSU fans calling for Miles job

LSU fans crying over the redux with Bama

along with

LSU fans bitching about Bama's schedule

are all very embarrassing as an LSU fan and difficult/impossible to overcome here in Bamaland.

21-0. A close 2nd is every time Shitburger makes a snide comment about it during his ABC/ESPN broadcasts.

1/9 was the most humiliating, high profile destruction not just in LSU sports history but maybe college sports history.

It was a frickup of epic proportions.

People I know that hate LSU expressed concern for how bad it was.

Meh, other teams have been whipped by more pts in national title games.

1/9/12 was bad, but I'd rather be shut-out in a national championship game than experience another 2-9 season.
