Shat is he known for, what does he run, do we go to a 3 man front? Before I melt I would like to know a little about the guy.

Those that are melting that don't know the answers, please delay the melt until we at least know how his ribs turn out.

Con CLM, ALeva and LSU out of more money than Saban will pay and then see how long you can ride that horse

Try not to get fired and force the offense to score 40 for a chance to win.

of course it matters. We have a decent core on D coming back, would like to know his approach, or at the very least what he likes to run.

No idea. Haven't found one thing about his philosophy.

I haven't looked, and I don't know. I do know the recent defenses he has coached on have not been too bad.

I am not happy and not mad...just kinda want to know what is going to happen with our personnel.

Take five star recruits and have them get trucked by fat kids from Cleveland.

I know that he hasn't been overly successful as a dc or hc

I know that I believe its more about players and fame planning than philosophy

some of defenses have been famously torched.

more negatives than positives from that view so while maybe not pissed disappointed for sure

"Steele has said in every published interview that he isn't inventing a new scheme, he's just copying one. Given that his longest tenures on staffs were with Alabama, FSU and Nebraska, and his failure at Baylor, its pretty fair to assume we'll be running a 4-3 attacking scheme based on those three defenses. Given that Steele has praised Saban for his teaching ability, and the scheme itself, its fair to assume that he will essentially copy his old Alabama playbook. "

BTW, Chavis and Steele played high school football together and talk all the time. I would pay to hear the recent conversations.

It's the Marcus Brutus philosophy. March 15 2017 remember that day.
