Fwiw, there is nothing questionable about it. It was fair.

Still dont understand why third base coach did not argue. i would have crawled up the umpires arse.

Why do the numb nuts on ESPN keep saying it should have been a 3 run homer? It hit the damn wall 2 feet below the top of the fence.

One idiot keeps repeating it. Why? I don't know.

I don't understand why everyone refused to argue. With the benefit of replay we can see it was clearly fair, but it must have been terribly deceiving on the field based on the reactions.

Correct. It was definitely fair. But it wouldn't have been a home. It was still inside the fence. It would've likely been a 2 RBI double.

Apparantly there was also some confusion on what is/isn't reviewable. I believe it is reviewable. But sone didn't think it was because of how it was worded, only to find out it indeed was reviewable upon further clarification.

With the way they're acting, you'd think it was the bottom of the 9th. They had most of the game to overcome a shitty call. They did nothing.

Sometimes things look different live. The ball bounces to the left. That may have fooled the eye.

The fact that nobody vehemently argued says it all.

one run would have scored; would have been a ground rule double and runners advance 2 bases; problem was that Oregon State coach who these announcers thought was Knute Rockne, Casey Stengel and Adolph Rupp rolled into one, along with his treasured coaching staff, all had their heads up their collective asses and the home plate umpire who screwed Lange so many times on strikes he wouldn't call should have over-ruled the line umpire anyway...Kyle Peterson whined more than any of the OSU people
