Look at how high some two loss teams are ranked. I think it is very possible.

the kids are excited so thats always a plus!

After a rough start, a major change, two blowout wins after the change, and then taking out 5 ranked teams (including the number 1 team) I would think we would at least be in the discussion.

That's a tall order. I want it to happen, but I don't know how realistic it is.

ETA: The SEC championship would be the most important factor to the selection committee. They proved with Ohio State that they value a strong finish to the season.

If we were to run the table, which is highhhhly unlikely.... I think we'd sneak in the final 4....

Wait for it, wait for it....the saban and bama dick suckers will be in here shortly. Going back a decade, every game in tiger stadium has been a nail biter, and LSU is only a 2 point dog currently....but there are those that are going to tell you that we have no chance. One game at a time.

Would be really interesting to see where they would put a 1 loss Bama and 2 Loss LSU SEC champion.

We have no chance of beating Bama. Their pass rush vs Tenn and how their corners were sitting on short routes is how they'll play LSU. Where are you seeing Bama only a 2 point favorite? If so that's easy money.

But LSU can beat every other team on the schedule (or could lose all the games...the schedule is that tough). It'll make for some interesting Saturdays coming up.

Possibly.... Even in the BEST case scenario for LSU it would probably be:
1. Ohio State (even w loss to Michigan)
2. Clemson
3. Washington
4. Michigan (even w loss to Ohio State)

This is assuming the 4 teams above win out except for Ohio State vs Michigan game. Stranger things have happened.... We'll see! Geaux Tigers!

Who are you people?? Wtf is wrong with y'all? We played with Missouri and Southern Miss and beat the ever living crap out of both. We didn't play like we could against bama. Baka game will not be a blowout and will be very close and LSU comes out with the win. Heard it here first.

It just depends on how other teams do. I believe there is at least an 80% chance LSU makes it in as a two loss champion.

I also think there is at least an 80% chance that in the next ten years we'll see two two-loss teams in the playoffs at the same time. If the four team playoff existed in 2007 there would have been THREE two-loss teams in it.

What hurt us most was Wisconsin and that is only because the nation thought Wisconsin was bad this year. Took Ohio State to overtime last night before losing. Think if voters knew who Wisconsin was early we don't drop as far as we did week one. Also this offense we have seen now, probably beats Wisconsin and Auburn. Defense is keeping scores low.
