Other than going pro or graduating, what would our DL and OL starting lineup be if all stayed in school and stayed healthy? How good would we be?

Godchaux on the DL. I can't think of any OL that would be starting. I looked up a few guys that transferred a few weeks ago and they were either starting on JUCO or not starting on FBS teams

Yep, I'm just trying to out together a snapshot of what they should be under normal circumstances. I think our staff is getting undue criticism for sub oar line play.

Why? I would agree with you if our OL play had taken a small step back from last year. That is to be expected. They have looked down right awful at times. I think it’s fair to criticize our coaching staff for horrendous OL play.

Except for the fact they are working with lower than expected experience.

We handled FL.with at least 3 true freshmen starting on OL! This is the SEC

More like survived. Handled would imply we dominated them.

Syracuse started more freshman on their OL than LSU did and looked way better.

LSU has more experience on the OL than Mississippi State and Syracuse. Both of their OL's looked way better than ours.

Are you saying that we are adequately talented/experienced on the OL?

If so, I disagree.

I’m saying our play is far worse than our talent level/experience. Are we more talented than Bama? No, but we’re not all that far behind either.

Are we more talented and more experienced than Mississippi State and Syracuse? Yep. Have we played like it? Nope.

Just wait till Moffit gets a hold of these guys. They'll be 20lbs heavier and 2 steps slower.

Well, seeing as those transferring to DI programs can’t play this year, it would make sense none of them are starting.

Retaining a shitty OL coach is the biggest issue with O. We had guys transferring after only 1-2 years on campus. These weren’t 3+ year players that just got jumped by freshman and had no time left to improve.

I keep reading and hearing things like this yet our RBs and QBs has a 2.9 ypc average. That is horrible against a UF team that was missing significant players in defense.

Why does it matter they are missing significant players, but not us?
