I was only able to catch the last 7 innings. I understand he struggled mightily. Do you think he loses his rotation spot?

Bain earned the start next weekend. Godfrey has lost it for now.

I agree with thunderbird1100. Godfrey will be fine eventually, but for now Bain should be the Sunday starter. Let Godfrey start the second midweek game to get his confidence back. Just my opinion.

Agree, it may not happen though. We should know by tomorrow though.

against uno , we should play the entire 2nd team, with the entire staff going an inning

Higgins, he had some very poor defense behind him. Along with his lack of control - of his off speed stuff, so I heard - it sank him. Foster had an obvious error that should have been an inning-ending DP with only one run scored. It was ruled a base hit, but it wasn't even close. Stevenson lost a routine fly ball in the sun, too.

Full disclosure: the description of Foster's error was from what I read. The WatchESPN app kept going out on me.

No doubt Bain has earned whatever he gets. Who should be the Sunday starter depends on what the coaches think is the best way to get Godfrey back on track. Because that should be priority one - not winning games right now. This team will not sniff a championship without another quality starter/long reliever in addition to Bain.

Godfrey should start against NWST this Wednesday. Just go Johnny all staff against UNO.

Thanks for the info. Goes along with what I posted during his uk start. He isn't there mentally and has no command of a second pitch. Only possessing a fastball makes for short outings for starters. Yep, Foster is shaky at times.

We need Godfrey to gain some confidence, because we're going to need him come postseason time.

I was there and foster, without a doubt, committed an error. Gump score keeper is an idiot.

Let Godfrey throw 2 innings to start against UNO or NW State to try and get him back on track

His stuff is good.
Confidence and mental right now.

Foster error and Stevenson dropping ball in sun didn't help
