Isn't that kind of like saying that a chick was the ugliest "10" you ever slept with?

Great analogy. I'm going to use that the next time someone says that to me.

find me a fricking link.....you've shown nothing to prove this. My theory is the winning ugly is making people find stuff that isn't there.

Not to make excuses, but I think his demeanor on the sidelines is a direct reflection of how he thinks the QB should be handled. I don't think it's any coincidence that the 2 years he appears to be the most "cool" are the 2 years we've started 19-year-old underclassmen QBs. He knows them better than any of us, and maybe he realizes getting all pissed off and throwing hats and headsets would only rattle them more and make things much worse. I think he was less concerned with Jamarcus's and Flynn's psyches.

I remember the 2006 game against Tennessee when Les Miles' head nearly exploded over the botched calls when Tennessee touched those punts, but the refs said otherwise.

I just don't get why rantards think its so much better to have a coach show emotion on the sidelines, that's why you have assistants. Sure, some coaches do it, some don't. It works for some, not for others.

Maybe if the coach shows passion on the sidelines, it will rub off on the players.

this is just stupid.

a coach needs to motivate his players...showing emotion does that. not just in games, but in practice.

i think if he showed that side when the fans could see it a little more it would help a lot in terms of how he is perceived around here.
