Have no idea how much playing time he will get, but FWIW he did get singled out by Miles after the recent scrimmage for playing well.

I think he currently sits at 4 on the depth chart behind PP, Hawkins, and B. Taylor. He stepped up big time last year at the end of the season and showed signs of being a starter in the SEC

No way he is!! Jai and PP are by far our 2 best corners. If only our new DC will realize the greatness that is Jai and move hawkins to the nickel

Maybe, but keep in mind that our new DC doesn't believe in a nickel package -- he'll just cover the 3rd WR with the FS (Chad Jones, in this case). So we likely won't be seeing Phelon except in dime packages when the opposing offense goes four wide.
