Nit we have to make it to the ship.....they are probably only taking 2 from the SEC Georgia and Ole Miss IMO

UF , Kentucky , Tenn. are going to the dance...I was talking about the NIT

You (along with everyone else) must be confusing Ole Miss and Arkansas........Arky is bubble for NCAA. Ole Miss yes has the same record as us but has lost 6 of the last 7 in the regular season. Assuming we win 1 n the SEC tourney we will get in the NIT above OM. Arkansas and UT are the question marks. I say we make the dance though

SouthOfSouth Already given out 8 (out of 13 conference tourneys) auto bids to NIT (win regular season, lose tournament). Has me really worried.
.
According to Bracket Matrix the average auto-bids getting in since the inception of this rule is 9.

They currently have us seeded 5 in one bracket . We might be OK.

Read my post above about seeding in the NIT. There is ZERO rhyme or reason to it, so nobody can accurately do a mock bracket with any sense of confidence. Therefore, I would not put any amount of stock at all into how that site has us seeded right now. The same site had us "in the NIT" last year, and we see how that ended up.

Not trying to be a nega-tiger...just presenting the facts as I see them. I would love to see LSU get into the NIT and I think a win over Alabama brings that closer to certainty. A loss to Alabama really puts it in jeopardy, though.
