Recruting season is over for the 2017 year just about. He landed no RB commits and whiffed late on akers and Etienne.

CEH would've come here no matter who was RBs coach and he was offered when Frank Wilson was still here.

I guess his NO ties? We have 1 commit from Nola. Just trying to grasp the board's opinion of him.

You can't put Akers all on Juluke. He wanted to know who the OC would be before the dead period and LSU didn't have one.

Have to admit ol Frank Wilson would have nabbed one of those boys. Kinda feel uncertain with him now

Uh, coaches our stable of RB. Last I checked, that little dude that stepped in for LF didn't do all that bad.

Stop bitching. This directly relates to the RB situation. Guice is a Heisman candidate, Williams is cutting weight. Brosette will be fully healed from his injury and hungry to play. CEH is a fricking beast that only gets doubts because he is short. Our RBs are perfectly fine damn.

in his first season as RB coach, his crew had 3 of the top 4 single game performances in LSU history all against SEC foes

Guice 285 yards 4 TD vs A&M
Fournette 284 yards 3 TD vs Ole Miss
Guice 252 yards 2 TD vs Arkansas

I think I speak for all LA Tech fans, that if you want him to bounce from LSU we will gladly have him back.

He's an asset to the staff as far as I know. Yes, he's a good recruiter but he also does a good job handling personalities and motivating guys. I'd be lying if I said I knew how he was X's and O's/technique wise but I do know he's well respected and loved by his players.

You are off base. The coaches divide recruiting by area (under the old staff), not necessarily by position. Cam had BR, Raymond had/has (Florida). Sure Juluke has plenty of contact with the recruit, but O recruited Akers personally. Win some, lose some.

Also likely had the highest number of fumbles by LSU running backs in over a decade at least. Fournette was not the same back this year (partly due to injury) and Guice showed flashes last season. Juluke was not very intimate in their success likely at that juncture, but you don't find it funny that turnovers by the running backs magically goes up his 1st year here?

Yeah I'm sure the change at runningbacks coach caused the spike in fumbles last season

You do realize the emphasis the last two coaches at the position put on holding onto the ball, right?
