SMH at all of these supposed football fans arguing over uniform striping.

Just like most of these alternatives, it is a typical boring college uniform. LSU's classic uniform is far better than the alternatives, which are nice from time to time but only because of the novelty.

yep, it's the same stripe as the white, but the contrast of the gold pants makes it less noticeable from a distance, but we've had the small gold stripe inside the purple since the 90s. Not really sure why they changed it when they did but it's always irrationally bothered me. Oddly enough, the white helmets also have that same stripe while the gold helmets don't.
As you can see here. It was a normal triple stripe in 1989 and then different in 1990

It’s not enough LSU for me. Nothing compares to a traditional LSU uniform.
