Regarding their preference for Miami over LSU?

Context clues lead me to believe they pulled a stunt equivalent to JR's Bama Boy chain.

I know this is a week old, and sorry for the late jump in, but could someone fill me in?

RJF is a big "Twitter" LSU fan. Never talks about Miami.

Man, I heard alot of stuff about how dysfunctional that locker room was last year. I hope not even a third of it is true.

Who cares. Byrd was the ultimate malcontent anyway.

I saw where Byrd posted something along the lines of "Yeah I'm a canes fan and always have been" which I dont have a problem with. He's from Miami and they were always his team but he just never got an offer from them. He also wished LSU luck before the Washington game and I've never seen him say anything negative about LSU (atleast not on facebook)

Byrd has flown the coup, but the '07 NC wouldn't have happened without him.

Actually it is entirely possible that Byrd said something like this and one of our fans flew into immediate OMG HE HATES LSU hysterics. I would have no problem believing this.

Byrd is still woozy from the pain meds. He probably didn't even know what he was doing at the time.

I can only begin to imagine how much damage this man did in the locker room. Hopefully it didn't rub off on the younger players. He played with 0% last year and was, as another poster identified, a malcontent.

I don't wish anything bad against him, but I certainly won't go out of my way to root for him.

I have little of an emotional attachment in JUCO transfers. Byrd, Wroten, Mario Stevenson, and the like are at JUCO for a reason...guys like them are just a bit more "special" than the others and I guess the proof's been in the pudding.
