If the WRs catch the ball and the OL plays a little better we could win out (maybe lose one). If not I think we definitely lose one maybe 2.

The defensive talent is there. We just need the offense to execute the game plan.

In the case of this year I think everyone is off on the game plan. They have tried to open it up a lot more the WRs and OL have just limited the offense with their poor execution.

I admit that in the past the play calling has been bland; however, our QBs did limit our offense as they just werent that good either.

With Improved WR and OL Play:
Win out or lose to one of SC/Bama

Without Improved WR and OL Play:
For sure lose one or maybe both games to SC and Bama

I am leaning this way right now myself, though something tells me that we will come away with a win against USCe.

Let's take the obvious ones - Ole Miss and Arkansas should be laughers.

Mississippi State and Texas A&M are interesting because they're playing better than expected. A&M is our last "tough" away game (although I'm not in the camp of taking Arkansas too lightly - but they've just looked so bad early - hopefully they will have 6 wins before our game so they're not playing for bowl eligibility). It is also the last game prior to Bama (but we have a bye, after), I doubt we overlook them. Ditto for Mississippi State. We've done well against them, even when they field fairly good teams. Having them at home may be the difference. I think we win close games against aTm and Mississippi State.

USCe and Bama are the biggies, obviously. USCe is a fairly well-balanced team and they're playing very, very well. I think the Tiger Stadium crowd, which still hates Steve Spurrier very much (October 9, 1993, never forget), lifts LSU to a victory, and does the same thing 3 weeks later against Bama, although that is another game with OT written all over it.

LSU continues to get better, offensively, through the back half of the season and goes to Atlanta for a rematch with the Gators.

That's my bold prediction on 10/10/2012.

Sounds great, Ace. I hope you are correct. Unlike many here, I have not lost all hope.

what will your take be when we lose our 4th game of the year at Arky? Get over it? We cannot simply score points. In this league you need more than a good defense.

Most people will have a different take if that happens. But only emotional idiots go off on rants based on their on emotional and pessimistic prediction of the future. Most women do this too, but we allow it because they have boobs. You simply are a boob.

Why doesn't your talented family of coaches try and take the LSU job? Herp derp.

I think we are 50-50 right now to bet beat USCe, a lot of improvement to be made in such little time. We beat ATM, MSU, Ole Miss and Arky. Alabama is gonna be tough, they do not show much weakness but I believe that this rivalry will begin to swing in favor of the home team annually, giving us the W this year....

My head says:

Sat, Oct 13 South Carolina (Home) - Loss
Sat, Oct 20 Texas A&M (Away) - Loss
Sat, Nov 03 Alabama (Home) - Loss
Sat, Nov 10 Mississippi St. (Home) - Win
Sat, Nov 17 Ole Miss (Home) - Win
Fri, Nov 23 Arkansas (Away) - Loss

My heart says:

Sat, Oct 13 South Carolina (Home) - Win
Sat, Oct 20 Texas A&M (Away) - Win
Sat, Nov 03 Alabama (Home) - Loss
Sat, Nov 10 Mississippi St. (Home) - Win

Fri, Nov 23 Arkansas (Away) - Win

With all the shite that has happened this season, 10-2 would be a good year. If we win our bowl game, we'll finish in the top 10.

USCe - Win
aTm - Win
Bama - Close loss
MSU - Close win
OM - Close win
Arky - Close win.

This year is going to play out similar to 2010, with the exception of Bama. Substitute Bama for Auburn and Florida for Arky and you have the 2012 season looking very similar to the 2010 season.

It could happen. If I thought we could win in the 90's I am not going to concede any games now

If we beat USCe and then the only loss is to Bama and we win a bowl game we would finish in the top 5 for sure.

We win out.

What's wrong with you so called fans?

How can you watch the games when you think they're going to lose? You aren't real fans. What a terrible way to spend 3 hours.
