Tre could've played saturday, so he should be back.

Moore should be back as well. no official word yet though. it'll be kept quiet until game time IMO.

From what others have said, both should be back for the Bama game.

I hope JDM doesn't play that much against Bama. Not bc he is injured but we run the ball better out of 3WR sets.

It said White could have played if he was needed. Good move by Miles not risking him. Moore's report said 3-4 weeks which would mean he could go by time Bama but probably with a brace and limited snaps. I'd rather have him for the rest of the season than making it worse.

Lacoture and White should be full go's.

I disagree. Bama will have two linebackers on fournette if we run with no fullback. Fullback has to eat a man and Leonard shakes a man for yards. That's how we need it to work.

this just isnt true.

We have run better out of 3WR sets lately because Mouton isnt what JD Moore is. When Moore plays, he is a stud at FB to seal the block at the linebacker level for LF to get going.

But i will say, itll be hard to run up the middle in the I-formation against Bama because their MLB and DT's are as good as it gets. We'll have to spread the ball out.

Yep. Hence the reason I made the post. Btw, if you throw a 3rd WR they have to counter with removing a LB and adding a DB.

Well you can still have a FB on the field in a 3WR set. You need to clarify what you mean a little more. All you said was, I hope JD Moore doesn't play so we can run more 3WR sets.

The only way Saban will do this is if we hit a couple of slants over the middle, or some WR screens vs LBs. He will stay in his base defense unless we MAKE him come out of it.

One thing that could set up nicely for us is the fact that we can run a good bit of the offense out of a 3WR I Formation. If Saban sends out a base 3-4 on 1st down, I would love to see the staff either send 3 WRs, or split out the TE at the line and go no huddle/no subs. That would hold Bama in that personnel group for the drive unless they called a TO.

Saban HATES this. He wants to be able to constantly rotate and sub to situations. If you can trap them in the right group, go with tempo, and mix the plays right, even a great defense can get knocked off balance.

It's not like this is exotic. The staff already runs hurry up a series or two a game. It's just that Fournette poses a real dilemma for a DC, already. Mix in some hurry up, and personnel decisions get a lot tougher.

I'd like to see us return to running or faking the end around with Dural.

Did we do this much with WKU and Florida? I didn't get to see any of WKU game.
