I would honestly be satisfied if we wouldnt lose to teams with less talent.

Abso-freaking-lutely.

Too bad, that has nothing at all to do with the question posed. Thanks for participating, though.

Are there more than 5? 10? Not a pro or anti Les question, just trying to get a general feel for who people here think are doing better and how many that may be. For the record, I don't think the whole state of our program rests on the status of Les, either way.

We're all tracking what you're getting at, and I guess the answer you're looking for is Saban/Alabama.

Truth is that though I would love their current success, I'm not looking to trade places with any program...cause bitch I'm from Louisiana.

J/k. At least about the "bitch" part.

What most water brained fans don't realize is for what we have right now, alabama is pretty much the only good trade for us. Even then, I still never would. Ohio St and Oregon haven't had ncs any more recently than LSU, have lost in title games while Ohio St has been embarrassed multiple times. Are they as fricking miserable as we are? I doubt it.

This thread is a straw man, and I hope you don't treat your personal or professional life in the same manner. Oh [boss or wife, etc.], I know I really fricked up, but you should not complain because would you really want [that employee or husband, etc.] who has fricked up more?

Here's a novel idea, how about not fricking up?

so be perfect or be mediocre?

the OP has a valid point. besides alabama, why would LSU fans trade this program for another? who is doing better?
who does not suffer these same type of losses? who doesn't have an "off" season now and again?

the answer is bama and i understand the goal is to supplant them but no other teams (not even the ones in shitty conferences with shitty schedules) can get on the same level.

lol at this thread. Nobody can come up with more than 2. And besides the obvious one, how many of you were wanting to trade programs with FSU last year? They're actually having a good season and you guys wanna trade?

This I get. Lose to Georgias and Alabamas. That's frustrating as hell, but understandable.

Losing to Ole Miss repeatedly? Arkansas? Penn State? Clemson? More difficult to explain.

I wish we could trade Miles for any of the following Saban (not going to happen), Meyer (not going to happen) Shaw (will likely be in the nfl soon). So it looks like we are stuck with stupid.
The only bad part with getting rid of miles (which will never happen because he has the best contract in the world)would be to lose Cam and Chavis

You are attempting to ascribe some semblance of rationality on a sentiment that is entirely and completely irrational.

"Fire Miles" isn't about improving the program. It's about being mad that we lose, and wanting to see someone punished.
